Disney’s The Little Mermaid at Hobby Center

Houston families – do not miss this rare treat!

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) is presenting the Houston premiere of Disney’s The Little Mermaid through June 29. This show, based on the animated Disney film of the same name, is a new and improved version of the musical that was staged on Broadway – with flying sequences, new songs and fantastic costumes and sets. The revised script focuses more on Ariel’s self-awareness, her relationship with her father King Triton and family bonds.

ParentsPost TV’s Bernadette Verzosa went backstage at the Hobby Center for flying sequence lessons. She interviewed actress Jessica Grové who plays Ariel and choreographer Paul Rubin who is also known as “The Fly Guy.”
